With its small size and revolutionary new features, the TSG200 presents a handy piece of equipment for multiple purpose usage and a great variety of application areas:

  • RC application synchronisation in locations where no radio control signal is available;
  • Checking for the presence of radio control signal waves;
  • Checking quality of the incoming radio control signal waves.
  • Conversion of radio control signals by receiving a time code from one signal and transmitting as time code of another signal.
  • A normal table clock
  • 9V rechargeable power supply, connectable to DC power line.
  • RS-232 interface to connect PC for downloading of reception information to be stored as a log file for future reference.

FSI
FIELD STRENGTH INDICATOR

The inbuilt field strength indicator (FSI) of the TSG200 indicates the strength of the received signal in µV/m. This enables the user to locate best/worst receiving areas, eliminate reception problems related to outside conditions and monitor varying field strengths in different reception areas.

BSI
BIT STRENGTH INDICATOR

Quality of the signal being received as well as quality of the information contained in the signal is indicated with the bit strength indicator (BSI). The BSI supports evaluation of the received information for determining valid and non-valid information and ensures reception of proven information only.

FSI + BSI = INTERFERENCE ANALYSING

The combination of FSI and BSI analysing now enables the user to exactly differentiate between background noise only, strong interference and real signal.

DATA LOGGER

The Data logger of the TSG200 has been developed to store received data up to 14 days. The stored data can be read into a PC via a serial port (RS-232) and evaluated.


For evaluation of data, we can provide a PC software:

The TSG200 Analyzer software allows the user to view the received data in graphical charts, detect interferences, view the bit strengths in determined time ranges and save the corresponding data file to a PC.

The TSG200 Analyzer software (TSG200-AS) is provided free of charge after purchase of the TSG200.

 

 

 

SIGNAL CONVERSION

The TSG200 not only transmits a selected signal, but is also able to convert the locally received signal into any signal to be transmitted, chosen by the user. For example, if you are located in Great Britain, you will receive either the MSF signal.
The received time information can now be transmitted in any other available time signal chosen by the user (DCF,WWVB, JJY40, JJ60).

The TSG200 is able to transmit all currently available time codes, that is:
DCF, MSF, WWVB, JJY40, JJY60

Therefore, only one piece of equipment is needed to transmit all available time codes.
